Museum of the Jewellery Quarter – If you are a bit of a magpie for all things bling, then this is the place for you! In 1981 Smith and Pepper the local jewellery manufacturers retired – they stopped trading and closed the door on their jewellery empire. They left a treasure trove of history inside the locked building, which has become a museum for everyone to discover the history of Birmingham’s famous jewellery quarter and its metal working heritage.
